Smart software as the perfect support for professional hygiene & quality management
Hygiene and quality have the highest priority in the food industry. Specialised software, such as the QMSpot, ensures that this requirement is met at all times throughout the entire storage and processing chain.
Daniel Schwanitz, CEO and founder of MAXINTIME GmbH, played a key role in the development of QMSpot. In an interview, he explains exactly what QMSpot can do and where it can be used.
Mr Schwanitz, what exactly is QMSpot?
Daniel Schwanitz: QMSpot is a modular hygiene and quality management software for the central implementation, monitoring, optimisation, analysis and archiving of operational processes and critical control points within a company.
With our smart software solutions and professional service expertise in hygiene and quality management, we make all operational areas of a company permanently efficient and effective.
Which companies is QMSpot suitable for?
Daniel Schwanitz: Hotels, caterers, restaurants, production and industrial companies - basically for all companies that deal with food. The size of the company is not relevant for QMSpot. It doesn't matter whether it's a small business or a group with many thousands of employees and many locations. The software adapts easily and flexibly to any company structure.
What is the advantage of QMSpot?
Daniel Schwanitz: Strict laws and regulations apply in the food industry. QMSpot fulfils all legal requirements that must be complied with. QMSpot is also extremely interesting for all companies that are aiming for or already have IFS (International Food Standard) certification, for example, as QMSpot fulfils all the conditions and requirements.
All company processes are easily documented and presented transparently. This brings the entire operational processes to life, as they can be adapted and changed at any time. In addition, QMSpot offers further modules that combine many data and processes in one solution. These include, for example, checklists, audit, document management, sensor management, training management, eLearning and device management. Statutory processes can be mapped and administrative and corporate processes can be easily implemented.
What technical requirements or end devices must be available?
Daniel Schwanitz: QMSpot works very simply via common mobile iOS, Android or Windows end devices and all common browsers. No installation or maintenance is required. Even backups are carried out automatically by our company MAXINTIME. The only requirement: the devices should always be up to date.
Do I need training or special knowledge to use QMSpot correctly?
Daniel Schwanitz: Training is only necessary for the administrator of QMSpot. For the pure user, the system is intuitively structured and therefore self-explanatory. Nevertheless, we offer our customers customised onboarding to introduce them to the world of QMSpot in the best possible way. This is part of our service, which for us is an essential component of our corporate philosophy. We support our customers in all questions and concerns and live the cooperation with our customers in an included lifetime support experience.
In which devices can QMSpot be installed?
Daniel Schwanitz: In principle, all B.PRO devices can be equipped with QMSpot, for example. This makes it extremely easy to document the legal requirements. Measurements are taken via NB-IoT sensors, which continuously monitor the temperature data and forward it directly. Of course, the measurement intervals can also be customised. New functions that offer even more possibilities are constantly being developed. In order to gradually open up to the digital world, devices can also be equipped with QMSpot successively without any problems.
What can be monitored with QMSpot?
Daniel Schwanitz: Whether online or offline - you can monitor all devices with QMSpot. The possibilities range from contract management to CO2 measurement and much more. Of course, interfaces may still need to be developed for one manufacturer or another. But this is an ongoing process. B.PRO is a manufacturer that has recognised the possibilities and advantages of working with QMSpot from day one.
What characterises QMSpot?
Daniel Schwanitz: QMSpot is a platform-independent system that offers customised solutions. Thanks to our many years of experience in the field of hygiene and IT, we have built up extensive practical expertise. Our company is owner-managed and has in-depth expertise in cloud technology and cloud infrastructure
Over the last 10 years, QMSpot has evolved from a pure checklist system to a platform with various modules and AI technology. Our modules are MY QMSpot with document, location, user and QRCODE management, the checklist module, training management and e-learning, the audit module, as well as device management and sensor management.
Thanks to our many years of experience, we have customers from various industries such as food retail, catering, food production, hotels, engineering offices, the pharmaceutical industry, freight forwarders and the service sector. We work with customers ranging from one-man operations to over 8,000 employees throughout Europe and North America.
Thank you very much for the interesting and informative interview, Mr Schwanitz.
